What is the EMA (English Majors Association)?

In short, We are interested in:

• Facilitating open discussion on a variety of English related topics
• Sharing ideas and techniques/approaches to literature and writing
• Providing critical information for students interested in graduate school or simply finding out “What can I do with an English Degree?” (including one-on-one help with applications and/or career advice in general)
• We also give students the opportunity to engage with their professors and other faculty outside the classroom in small group gatherings (mixers, film nights, luncheons, etc.)
• We have student representatives at all English department meetings.
