Blackness, Animality, & the Human; Black Ecoliterary Traditions, (Undoing) Black Speculative Futures
My work follows the discursive-materialist history of the concept-category of the human offered by Sylvia Wynter’s thinking. I’m interested in using black studies to think of alternative, read ecological, modes of becoming and being in-and-with-the-world that militate against the theory and practice of the human.
