Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund in English
This competition for financial support is open to both undergraduate and graduate English Majors at the University of California, Riverside. The Committee will look with favor upon applicants who are committed to those ideals of peace, social justice, and feminist concerns for which Kris stood and worked. Among the other criteria the Scholarship Committee shall judge in selecting scholars are a desire to complete a degree in English, potential to contribute to the school and community, financial need, and academic achievement.
Applications should take the form of a letter to the committee. Applicants should describe their past careers and their future plans and should give some indication of how their qualifications address the criteria outlined above. Letter should be sent to:
